I am responding to John, #480: None of what you said about Hillary applies. She is a United States Senator and the spouse of our last sitting Dem President. It is her JOB to do what she is doing. She is doing what is required of her as a Member of Congress. She has constituents who support Obama, so she is once again showing strength of character rather than stooping to the level of her enemies and sitting back pouting. She is my HERO!!!

I was devastated, as were most of you...she really did win - the media and the "race" yellers beat her...some of those media boys are paying now - a little - but a little too late. And the ones who holler about "race" all the time have never met the Clintons. I know racist pigs and they are nowhere close to that. I don't know if I can write her in or not - SC - probably not. I was so damn mad that I wanted to vote for McCain just to piss all the dems off and beat their sorry asses for what they did, and allowed to be done, to the most qualified of all of them. Seems most everybody let out a skeleton or two this primary season - except Hillary. I even said to my friend, "If McCain's smart, he'll pick a woman to try and get all of us to vote for him." And he did - sort of - he picked a modern looking woman half dressed in teenage rebellion and 18th century values. I have to say, she made me appreciate my mom a whole lot more - no AKA's, no Bible beating with one hand, banning books and not allowing sex ed in school, and hiding everybody's pregnancies longer than necessary. But, who am I to judge? If I cannot vote for Hillary in a write in, I will not vote at all...and that's a shame. I have always been proud to vote. However, I cannot bring myself to vote Republican. Nor can I vote for a stupid man who sat in his pastor/mentor's church for 20 years and never listened to his hate mongering sermons. Perhaps that's because he is really a Muslim and didn't want all that Christian love to cloud his little mind. I definitely want someone with experience - beyond city hall and 1 year in the senate, and what was it called, community organizing. Ever wonder what that could encompass? Many things that do not have to be on an approved list, esp. in Chicago. All I know is that if we manage to live through another Republican term in the WH, Hillary can have an easier run on the "I told you so" platform.

At first I was very disapointed to hear that McCain had not chosen Mitt Romney. I have confidence in Mitt to work for the good of our economy. I did not like it that Sara Palin had such small chidren to take up her time and possibly keep her from putting our economy and her job first.
After listening to her, I have changed 180 degrees. She knows how to take people on and how to get things done I will be voting for McCain and Palin.

We need to start a NEW Democratic Party. I no longer consider myself a Dem, they no longer share my values and goals. They have become a party of POWER and MONEY, not a party for the people.

I agree with you Kelligesq; people should have remembered that the inhouse fighting was going to wreck the bar b que. I cannot believe how many Obama voters have gotten in my face after asking me who I was going to vote for. I have been called names and been excluded from situations because I was for Clinton.
Society has been reduced to high school; being P.C. just means you are going to get your ass kicked and lose something. It is now a weakness because the only way to win is to be ugly, mean, overly agggressive and if the word racist helps, throw it on top!. That way no one wants to get close enough to compete; instead they would rather retain their humanity and move on. That is how losers win.
That is where we are now. I am old school; I am P.C. and not changing. They may have stolen the arguement with a punch in the face and a fast hand, but the election in November, where they need votes like mine, they will feel a punch they never saw coming. They believe that it is my duty to vote for this new kid, but I own my voice and my vote. I will be there screaming for poetic justice on November 4 with the other 18million voices; we will be heard!
In school they speak of society in terms of groups; dominant to subordinate. The dominant group(white males) generally can sit back and watch the other groups (in this case women and African Americans) beat the crap out of eachother while trying to ascend to power. This allows the dominant group to stay in power because the "subordinates" are too beat up to fight them full force; they become disenfranchised and lose strength and conviction. It was so textbook for this all to happen the way that it did that I do not believe the high school history books are thoroigh enough. This was absolutely basic.
Keeping the faith in California!

RE: all the complaints by the Obama people, and Dem party insiders that the PUMA women and men, and “Clinton Diehards” are endangering Obama’s election:

1) they shoud have thought of that before Obamanuts were trained to call anyone not supporting Obama, “you’re a racist” and in our face with that curse online and at caucuses in person. White kids screaming at Hillary caucus goers”You;re racist” wasn’t an accident, it was part of their training by Obama’s trainer straight out of Chicago - a planned intimidation.

The stupidest thing they and Pelosi did was to have Clayburn out on national TV telling the most revered president since FDR to shut up and calling him a racist!

2) The DNC said it didn’t need the older generation of Democratic voters, they had all these new college kid enrollees - well, we’ll see about that.

3) If the DNC is now crying and cursing about the trouble they are in garnering the votes of 18 million Hillary supporters , they should have thought of that before they fixed and cheated at the caucuses, made new rules to close Hillary out as nominee, cut her delegates from Florida in half, gave UNCOMMITTED Michigan delegates to Obama (UNCOMMITTED means uncommitted, not Obama votes) and took away some of the Michigan delegates who voted for Hillary and gave them to their “chosen one”, and after every one of Hillary’s state wins issued an announcement that she was quitting the race at the end of the week.

4) One would expect such crooks, liars, and cheats from the Republican Party, not the Democrats; but in 35 years of hard working for the Democratic Party, even when I didn’t like their candidate, I have never seen anything like what the Dems have done under Dean, Brazile, Pelosi, and Obama.
Did they think the American public and Hillary voters were that stupid not to know and see the outrageous robbery of Hillary Clinton?

So now, the DNC and the Obama Chicago thugs have split the party.

5) Hillary is the most qualified to be President and the world knows it. Obama hasn’t even finished a term as a Senator. He has NO experience governing anything. He has lied in too many areas to name. He has broken promises in too many areas to name. Just because he’s black is no reason to vote for him as President. His background and associations and nonvetting by the media which has tried to push him down our gullets, is absolutely no reason to vote for Obama.

6) The DNC has shown how low and corrupt it is and split the party. They stole the nomination from her by every trick ever known and new ones never heard of.
The DNC split the party. They and their leaders are responsible for the split.
Live with it.

I’ll be writing Hillary in for President on my November ballot.
As a Dem precinct captain, DEC member of my county, I’ve resigned and I’m never going back to the Democratic party.

18 million voters are a wonderful group to start a new Democratic Populist Party, a viable third party with all of Hillary’s issues as our platform is desperately needed. And if Hillary’s closest advisors could and would convince her, Hillary Clinton should be our leader.

This is my first time posting here, and I want to thank you for marching in Denver. You all were terriffic. The Dems and DNC with their unity baloney underestimate how many we are because they only see a few thousand of us at Denver. No brains,. people have to work, may not be able to spend the money required for 3 or 4 days hotels, food, and airfare in Denver, besides the fact that for two months at least or more every hotel has been booked up and there were no places to stay. Even Florida delegates, allowed to go at the last minute, were begging at meetings, did anybody have any room for them in their hotel rooms.
So much for 18 million and Pumas not really being representative or that there is true party disunity.

The polls say differently.

Thank you again for all you do.
